Swanky Swigs

When we visited our  Grandma W., we always drank out of aluminum glasses (not really “glass”es, if they aren’t glass are they?)  Well, I guess they were tumblers (you can still get them..just google Aluminum Tumblers)

To be honest, they hurt my teeth (I had a lot of fillings) but they were so colorful, and it’s something I always associated with my Grandma W.

When the grand-kids started coming (our first was born three weeks before numbers 2 and 3 – twins of course), I purchased some darling glasses that reminded me a bit of my other Grandma. I just love these, and the kids love picking out their favorites. With nine grand-kids, I had to do a bit of bargaining on e-bay, but I have more than a dozen now, so I think I’m okay for the moment ….

HI, I would love to trade you a pink pig and a green camel of a pink elephant and a blue monkey glass. I can’t find these other two anywhere. Thanks.

Lynne which ones do you need? If I have duplicates I’ll certainly trade. I’ll be away from home for a couple more weeks, but then I’ll know what I have for sure. In the meantime, it’s nice to know there are other swanky swig lovers out there!

HI, just notice your reply. I have really been having so much fun with finding one of each of these swanky swigs. I only need a pink pig glass and a blue cat glass and cannot find them any where. These are the ones I have extras of:

      2 pink elephant glasses
      1 red horse glass
      1 green monkey glass
Let me know which ones you want to trade. I’d love it. Thanks so much. I live in Eugene, Oregon.

Lynne. I’m sorry I’m so late in replying. We have just moved and today we unpacked the swanky swigs! I do have an extra pink pig, but sorry that I don’t have a blue cat (now I’ll have to keep my eye out for this!!). I don’t have the red horse, so we could certainly trade! I have a BUNCH of roosters if you have a need. Let me know and we can exchange addresses and I’ll get your little pig in the mail. Have a great day!
