So…what about those pictures?

I’ve had a number of people comment on my pictures in this blog.  Most notably, that my pictures seem to be getting better.

It’s no accident.

I joined an amazing group of women called Clickin’ Moms  ->  www.clickinmoms.com.

What is Clickin’ Moms?  Well, they say it better than I ever could:

Clickin Moms was founded in March, 2008 as a safe place for women to share their photos and a love of photography. In the first week, the board had approximately 100 members. Now – not quite three years later – Clickin Moms has become a booming but close-knit community of over 8000 members.

65% of our members are professional photographers, and 35% are either aspiring professionals or passionate hobbyists. What we all share is a commitment to honing the craft in order to deliver extraordinary images for our clients, beautifully capture the lives of our children, produce works of fine art, or engage in creative self expression.

Before taking my very first workshop (Rockin’ your Camera 101, taught by the ever-so-patient and talented Lynne Anderson), I didn’t know my ISO from a hole in the ground.   I still have a lot to learn, but I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful my experience has been with this very talented, empathetic, brilliant, creative group of (mostly) women.

What does this mean to you?  Well, I’m not going to try to tell you about my aperture settings or how I caught a great expression with little to no light.  I will, however, tell you where you can go to get this type of expert guidance.   So, if you are interested in capturing the moments of your life with flair, heart and artistic vision, I suggest you drop in to www.clickinmoms.com and see if there might be something there to help you on your photographic journey.

Keep an eye on this space.  I’ll have some exciting news over the next few days (as well as some great tips complements of Clickin Moms).

Keep Clickin!!

BTW, allow me to brag.  The inspiration for Clickin Moms?  My daughter, Kendra.   Brilliant, just brilliant (if I do say so myself)
