Armed with car games, jokes, riddles, kid related questions and a long, white 12 passenger van (oh, and don’t forget the coffee), Mr. H. and I began to round up our grand-sons for our week long Camp Grandmama and Grampy Campy.
At our first stop to pick up Kevin, we were welcomed with an amazing display
Very clever, and very sweet. Yes, indeed. Epic Camp.
Sophie and Kevin hugged goodbye (Don’t worry, Sophie. Girl Camp is in three weeks).
Good bye, Mommy and Daddy.
An island of cute in the 12 passenger van.
On our next stop, we picked up R.J. and Carson. Don’t worry Mackenzie, Girl Camp is in three weeks!
Goodbye Mommy and Daddy (oh look, there is a cat coming out of Carson’s hat. Photo-foul).
The van is filling up nicely. (Brimmed hats are not a picture taking Grandma’s friends. Too many shadows on those darling faces).
At our last stop to pick up Cooper, Ben and Charlie, I was lucky to get one (sort of) group shot. In fact, with six boys, this might be the last not too blurry, shirts are clean shot. Take it in.
This is the only pic of Luci. I can’t tell if Luci is trying to retrieve Molly or if they are both trying to hide in the van. Don’t worry Luci. Girl camp is in three weeks. Sorry Molly, we don’t have a puppy camp yet.
The van is full, and we are off.
Let the games begin.
