Countdown to Camp #1 – Three and a Half Days and Counting

I have a lot of wooden cubes.

Naturally I must have a project for Camp that uses my wooden cubes.

How about a Magic Folding Cube?

What is a Magic Folding Cube, you ask?

Read on, my friend, read on.

What you need:

8 same size wood blocks (I used 1”)
Packaging Tape
Eight 2″ x 2” pictures and two 2″ x 4″ pictures
Glue or Mod Podge

It took me some time (and a lot of cubes) to figure this out, but I finally cracked the code.

(This is an example of me NOT cracking the code).

I love Magic Folding Cubes.  I want to put everything on a Magic Folding Cube.

I love Magic Folding Cubes so much, I made two of them (the cube in the back of the picture is an example of the cubes the boys and I will be making at Camp.  They are going to love Magic Folding Cubes as well.

Oh, sure, we have tons of people for the 4th of July weekend, and I’m still not completely ready for Camp.

But look.  I have A Magic Folding Cube!

For your cubic pleasure, I am attaching a pdf of the instructions as well as the American Flag prints I used on my cubes.

Have fun and Happy 4th of July (It’s still the 4th of July in California, so I’m getting this in just under the wire…even though I don’t live in California…)
